Sir-Boy introduces the first in a new series of meditative works intended as an aid to relaxation and sleep.
About the album:
"The principle behind sleepshaping music is that it should have the ability to aid the listener in moving from conscious to unconscious mind. Once the user makes his or her way to a peaceful state of relaxation, the music should take over as a mental guide. Guided Sleep Symphony no. 1 is aimed at helping the listener relax and giving them permission to essentially become tired. Like a majority of the chapters in the Guided Sleep Symphony series, the main goal is to promote restful, peaceful sleep or at the very least a calm, meditative environment. The sounds are smooth and flowing. Exploration, tranquility, discovery and safety are among the themes listeners will notice. This installment contains no abrupt changes that would induce disturbances in consciousness. The Guided Sleep Symphony series is a free offering from the mind of Sam Hodge - penned as Sir-Boy (formerly spoonPhase)."
